Is there a minimum number of birth announcements that I must order?
Depending on the style of announcement that you order there is a minimum order of 25 of 50 birth
announcements, the minimum for a re-order is 10.
Will you assemble my birth announcements?
You have the option to assemble the announcements yourself or for a nominal fee, we will
assemble them for you.
What photo will work best on my birth announcement?
Digital pictures work well when the resolution is a minimum of 1200 x 1800 pixels and 300 dpi.
Pictures should be well lit and the flash should be used. Photos with a solid background and are in
sharp focus are desirable. Birth announcement photos tend to work best when they are relatively
close up. We will size your photos to suit the announcement that you have chosen. We are
unable to print professional photos without a copyright release form.
How do I send you my photo?
You can email your photo to us at photos@polkadotbox.com. In the subject line, please use the
same name as the "ship to" name you used when ordering. The file name you send should be the
child's first and middle name. .
How long does it take to get my announcements?
Orders typically ship within 4-6 business days, after you have approved your proof. Our standard
however, is 10 working days.
Do you charge sales tax?
All Idaho state residents will be charged 6% sales tax on every order.
Can I cancel an order?
If your order has not been printed we can cancel your order. You will need to contact us right away
if you do need to cancel your order, we do charge a proof fee of $5.00. If your order has been
printed we will be unable to cancel your order as all of our birth announcements are custom.
What if I find an error in my order?
If you find an error in your order we will redo it at no cost to you, if it is our mistake. If you enter
your information incorrectly on the order form we will reprint your order and you will receive a 10%
discount of your original order amount. Claims for misprints will need to be made within 4 days of
the receipt of your order. We will use the shipping company's delivery date as our standard.
Can my birth announcements be printed in another language?
As long as English characters are used. You must provide exact copy.
Are envelopes included?
Yes, envelopes are included with every order.
Can I receive my envelopes early?
We will pre-ship your envelopes for a $9.95 shipping fee.
